 Timotée Allouch: Performed second mvt of Mozart Concerto, K.482 with L. A. Doctors Symphony Orchestra; 1st place, in Division 1 of the Music Teachers Ass’n of Calif.-West L.A. Concerto Competition; 1st place Robert Turner Piano Concerto Competition; 2nd place in his category of the Los Angeles Young Pianist Competition; Winner, Regional Level, Southern California Junior Bach Festival; 1st place in his category of the Alice Frazier Kitchen Memorial Scholarship Competition; 3rd place in his category of the Calif. Ass’n of Prof. Music Teachers District III Sonatina Competition.

James Kim: 3rd place, Gail Newby Concerto Competition of the Antelope Valley Symphony Orchestra; Winner, Young Musicians Foundation Scholarship; 1st place in his category of the Los Angeles Young Musicians International Competition; 1st place in his category of the Open Chopin competition in the Southwestern Youth Music Festival; Performed third movement of the Mendelssohn g minor concerto with the Cal State LA Orchestra; 1st place in his division of the statewide Dozen Charitable Trust Concerto Competition; Performed the 1st movement of Mozart Concerto K.246 with the Culver City Chamber Orchestra.

John Kim:  1st place, Los Angeles Young Pianist Competition; 3rd place, Los Angeles Young Musicians International Competition;  2nd place, Open Solo, Southwestern Youth Music Festival; Regional Level Winner, Southern California Junior Bach Festival; 1st place, Calif. Luna Suzuki: Samohi Symphony Orchestra, (Concert Master); Samohi Chamber Orchestra (Concert Master); Fermata Award (presented to seniors who have contributed to the Music Department for all four of their years at Samohi); Kenneth Liu Memorial Award & Scholarship; Montecito International Music Festival, Merit Scholaship; Westside Committee of the Los Angeles Philharmonic Scholarship in Recognition of Distinguished for Solo Performance, (Samohi Senior Gala Audition,); Senior Command Performance; Superior Command Performance Ensembles, String Quartet & Violin Duet, SCSBOA; 1st place & Scholarship, Kiwanis Competition; Acceptance and Scholarships to UCLA, Vanderbilt University, Bard College.  This fall, Luna will attending UCLA, where she will pursue a degree in violin performance under the guidance of Professor Guillaume Sutre and Dr. Ambroise Aubrun.

Peter Sykes: 1st place, in Division 2 of the Music Teachers Ass’n of Calif.-West L.A. Concerto Competition;  2nd place in the Palisades Symphony concerto competition; Awarded the Joyce Benfield scholarship from the Westside Committee of the L. A. Philharmonic; 2nd place in his category of Calif. Ass’n of Prof. Music Teachers District III Honors Competition; Winner, Branch level in the Southern California Junior Bach Festival;  Performed third mvt of Mozart Concerto, K. 595 with the L. A. Doctors Symphony Orchestra; 1st place in his category of the Robert Turner Piano Concerto Competition;  2nd place in his category of the Los Angeles Young Pianist.
