Milena Raycheva

Milena was born and raised in Bulgaria and relocated to the US in 2007 seeking personal and professional development; curious about cultures and ways of being different than her own. After working for a few years in the Export Import industry as a Logistics and Office manager, she decides to pursue higher education. She believes that education is power and communication- the only chance at bridging the physical, material and intellectual gap between seemingly disparate individuals.

While pursuing her MA in Communication Studies at California State University of Northridge, Milena continues to hold mid-level executive positions at organization in the Education, Dental, Construction and Transportation industries. Milena recognizes that behind the success of any organization, small or large, private or governmental, stands a team of hard working, honest individuals committed to a shared common goal.
As Milena graduates her MA program in 2020, she devotes more and more of her time to pedagogy with emphasis on the development and implementation of equitable rigorous academic training that turns students into life-long learners. More specifically her interests lies in conflict de-escalation, interpersonal and small group communication.
