Elizabeth Dickenson
Teaching Artist
Elizabeth Dickenson, native of Anchorage, Alaska, is a highly sought-after violinist and educator based in Los Angeles. She enjoys all the musical opportunities LA has to offer—performing in opera and musical theater orchestras, playing studio recording sessions, and even appearing in Hollywood shoots as an on-camera violinist.
Ms. Dickenson holds performance degrees from the Eastman School of Music, studying with Mikhail Kopelman and Lynn Blakeslee, and the University of Denver, graduating from Linda Wang’s studio, where she also completed Suzuki pedagogy training. Her instrument, crafted by Anchorage luthier John Osnes in 2001, allows her to bring a bit of home with her wherever she performs.
