Emily Taylor

Emily Taylor is a third year UCLA student from Santa Monica. She started her music journey at age eight playing violin with the SOL-LA music academy studying violin under Margaret Lysy. She has participated in the Montecito International Music Festival and the MusicAlp International French Academy studying under world renowned teachers and performers. Emily has been a member of the Symphony and Chamber Orchestra at Santa Monica High School participating in tours to Argentina, Uruguay, and New York. In her college journey so far, she has been a member of the Gluck sting quartet, UCLA Philharmonia, and Chorale programs. Emily is currently working towards a Music Education degree and plans to get her teaching credentials.
