Janet Todd

Janet Todd is an Australian singer, and has lived and worked in the US for the past decade. She completed her Master of Music from the Manhattan School of Music and her Bachelor of Music from Melbourne University. Janet is a passionate educator and an active performer. She has performed as a soloist with major orchestras including the LA Phil, National Symphony Orchestra, American Symphony Orchestra and San Francisco Symphony and sung in venues such as the Hollywood Bowl, Madison Square Garden and the Sydney Opera House. On the operatic stage, Janet has performed with LA Opera, Opera Santa Barbara, Opera Columbus and Opera Australia amongst other companies across the US and Australia.
She is involved in music outreach, concert works, and film scoring projects throughout Los Angeles. Janet is also a regular member of the LA Opera Chorus and Los Angeles Master Chorale. Having begun as a violinist at a young age, Janet is passionate about the enrichment of music education, and has taught voice across many musical styles in schools and privately for many years.
