Nivram Castro

Nivram Castro is a fourth year Undergraduate Student at the University of California, Los Angeles pursuing a degree in Music Education with a focus on Violin. Born into a musical family, he took piano lessons as a child and has since gone on to learn guitar and ukulele among other instruments. He began his Violin studies in 8th grade under Dorthy Kwon, and has studied with Margaret Lysy and Movses Pogossian at UCLA. Nivram is also an experienced singer, with more than 8 years of choral experience, as well as being a member of UCLA’s Chamber Singers and the Music Director for UCLA’s Medleys A Cappella. Nivram has a love for teaching and education, and has aspirations of becoming a high-school Choir/Orchestra Director and Volleyball Coach.
