Ben Bartelt
Teaching Artist
A versatile musician, Ben Bartelt is equally at home on the violin and viola, and has experience performing in a range of styles from the Baroque to the avant-garde, from opera to musical theatre to popular music and beyond. He completed his undergraduate studies at UCLA, then continued with a Master's from Yale's School of Music, and finished his schooling at the Colburn Conservatory in Los Angeles, where he received the Artist Diploma.
As a dedicated teacher, Ben believes strongly in the importance of passing musical knowledge to the next generation. He is glad to be joining the faculty at SOL-LA.
